These are before and after photos of a famous adult star from the 90s named, JR Carrington. She was renowned for her beauty at the height of career. Now, instead of fading, she is still clinging to her looks. Her nose looks like it has been shaved down. Her skin looks like plastic and has no lines (she is in her 40s, so I don’t buy the no wrinkle look at her age). Her eyes also look pulled up. Overall, she looks like an alien.

Back to her nose, in the original photo it looks as if she has already had rhinoplasty. I wouldn’t be surprised if her original nose was more beak-like. If that is the case, her primary surgeon did a good job, because that nose fits her face perfectly.

J.R. looks like she has had a fair amount of plastic surgery. Years ago from the images I found, it looks like she had her nose and breasts operated probably a few times. More recent images look less pleasant.

As we have repeated here many times, plastic surgery has limitations. Operating and re-operating can lead to an artificial appearance when taken beyond a certain point. Patients who have well-planned, but less frequent plastic surgery usually look like improved versions of themselves. Too much surgery brings the risk: benefit equation into negative territory which is probably the story here. Good judgment is just as important as good technique when it comes to a patient’s appearance over the long term.

The images at Awful Plastic Surgery are reportedly more recent than the ones I have. J.R. Carrington would probably been better off stopping in the mid-90′s. She looked pretty good then albeit with implants on the larger side which of course is common in adult entertainers.

This photo of Johnny Depp with huge cheeks just hit the web. Does anyone know if they are prosthetic for the film? He looked normal a few months ago.

This change must be worked for her. The doctor who operated must be very successful. In particular I liked the aesthetics of the eye lift and botox.

Hollywood A-lister and overall beloved actor Johnny Depp looks almost as fresh-faced as he did when he was 20. Good plastic surgery may have had something to do with this, though it’s subtle interventions the star prefers.

Either that, or he’s a vampire, as several celebrity bloggers and occult specialists have been saying for years. According to we, though, Depp’s good looks are due to certain subtle tweaks he’s had.

One thing that never seems to change about the actor, aside from his talent and undeniable charisma, is his face. Even now as he’s nearing 50, he is still unbelievably fresh-faced.

Good genes must also be playing a part in this – but so does plastic surgery, two leading Miami surgeons believe. For the record, neither has worked on or been acquainted to Mr. Depp.

If the actor has had any work done to his face, it was either minimally intrusive or a procedure that is now considered “normal,” like having veneers put it or getting a chemical face peel.

“It would be difficult to say whether someone had veneers done without seeing them smile. Perhaps that is why he is often photographed with a straight face. Either way, Johnny Depp does not appear to need anything done or to have had anything done,” Dr. Michael Salzhauer says.

“Johnny Depp does not appear to have had any major work performed to his face. There is a possibility of Botox and fillers, but that is about all. His look is natural, and he would not benefit from any additional work at this time,” Dr. Paul S. Nassif, Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Rhinoplasty Specialist in Beverly Hills, shares for the same media outlet.

As also noted at the beginning of this article, another theory that would explain why Johnny Depp remains so young-looking even at his age is that he’s a vampire.

Let’s ignore the obvious theory for a second, namely that the star simply has good genes and has been taking good care of himself.

Albert Linkway, author of “Nosferatu: The Untold Story of Vampires in Hollywood,” for one, believes Depp is a vampire, just like Greta Garbo and Cary Grant also were. The signs are all there, he says.

“He’s a vampire. Johnny Depp has not aged visibly since he appeared in the TV series 21 Jump Street in 1987. We cannot discount the possibility that Mr. Depp was simply blessed with ‘good genes.’ Nor can we discount the possibility that he has joined the ranks of the undead,” the expert in the occult was saying a few years back, before the release of the book.

Suddenly, Johnny Depp getting plastic surgery probably seems a much likely theory, even if still based on speculation alone.

The Drudge Report claims that John Kerry has gotten botox? Did he? You decide. I think his face looks less furrowed than usual especially on the sides and his eye area looks more perky. The tired Capitol Hill looks seems to be gone.

Jodie Sweetin releases a memior, unSweetined, which tells all about her drug addiction, and how she was high while speaking to students about staying off drugs.

Sweetin-jodieIn her new memoir, un Sweetined, Jodie Sweetin, best known as “Stephanie Tanner” on Full House says as she traveled the country giving pep talks to college kids about staying off drugs, she was really high on cocaine. She also reveals that her first time drunk was at Full House co-star Candace Cameron’s wedding.

The former TV star came clean about her habit a year ago, saying she had been addicted to such drugs as crystal meth, cocaine and Ecstasy, but had kicked the habit, remarried, and was now a clean-living mom. But, her book tells otherwise.

“I thought for sure that one of the professors would take one look at me and kick me out,” she says about an appearance she made at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. “But none did. They wanted to hear about the trials and tribulations of Jodie Sweetin, or at least the Jodie Sweetin I had created by appearing on Good Morning America and talking to People magazine.”

Sweetin may have had work done to her looks to hide the effects of her addiction. In an appearance on Good Morning America last year, she said she had lost five teeth to her meth habit.

Meth addicts also tend to get open sores that can cause scarring, usually on the face. Porcelain veneers can hide dental problems, while laser skin resurfacing can help diminish the looks of scars, and Sweetin’s medium-light skin tone is ideal for the procedure.

British “Glamour Model” (that seems to be the new proper terminology for “girl who poses naked a lot”) Jodie Marsh is a bit of a mess. Her list of plastic surgeries is almost as long as her list of failed public relationships, with her breast augmentation in the forefront. Marsh, who is also a reality TV personality in her home country, has a set of 32 GG breasts that are way too big for her frame and almost give her freak show status. In addition to her attention grabbing chest, she has also had a nose job, but not necessarily a good one.

Her nose is very thin going down the bridge, but somehow bulbous at the tip, and has a bit of a piglet vibe to it. She is also the subject of rumors that she’s had a chin implant and cheek implants, as those features are a bit overdone as well, but the jury is still one on whether she has those surgeries. There’s one thing though that any jury would agree on, Jodie Marsh is taking thing a bit too far in her pursuit of store bought fame, and it’s only a matter of time before she takes it too far and ends up another plastic surgery horror story.

The model most often appears in little more than pasties, which show off her over-done breast augmentation. According to some sources, Jodie’s circus-sized breasts are a 32 GG. The overall goal of Jodie’s surgically enhanced appearance seems to be for attention, not beauty.

Above, the neck, Jodie has likely had a nose job sometime in the past to correct what she says is the result of a hockey accident in her childhood. Either the accident or a nose job left her with a very strange shaped nose, with an almost bulbous tip and a very narrow bridge.

Dr. Paul S. Nassif, a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon and a rhinoplasty specialist in Beverly Hills, California says, “It looks as if Jodie Marsh has had some work done to her lips and cheeks.  Her lips look slightly over done and she has possibly had cheek implants.”

“Jodie also possibly had a rhinoplasy that looks somewhat aggressive, making her nose look inconsistent with the angles and lines of her face.”

Her trout pout is almost as big as her breasts, indicating the use of injectables in her lips. She may also have also fillers in her face to make sure that it is smooth and wrinkle-free at all times.

Plastic surgeon Dr. John Di Saia notes the plastic surgery on Jodie’s body. According to him, “Jodie’s breasts, lips and nose, which is a weird shape, are the results of plastic surgery.”

Jodie is often the subject of allegations about poor personal hygiene, which is no surprise given her often tawdry appearance.

Plastic surgeon Dr. Jennifer Walden, “Jodie Marsh looks overdone.. from her breasts, to her nose, eyes, forehead, brow, and lips. It seems obvious that she has had a breast augmentation with oversized implants, a rhinoplasty that skeletonized her nose, Botox and/or browlift, and lip soft tissue fillers. Good plastic surgery is not intended nor carried out to look this over the top.”

In addition to breast implants, Jodie may also have a chin implant.

Plastic surgeon Dr. Sherrell J Aston agrees that Jodie’s plastic surgery is more about getting attention than getting better looking. He tells Make Me Heal, “I have a frequently repeated saying that ‘good plastic surgery should not look plastic.’” Jodie Marsh looks “plastic”. She has implants that are too large for her breast and chest wall. It appears that she has very little breast tissue, just large implants.”

“She appears to have a rhinoplasty that is okay and over injected lips.”

“She may also have a chin implant that is a little large. I suspect Botox and facial fillers but I can’t be sure from the photos. I am sorry to say that in my opinion this is not an attractive look and it is my opinion that it gives plastic surgery a bad name with the public in general. But it gets attention drawn to her and that appears to be her goal.”
